My Current Loves

Thought I'd share a few neat finds with you guys.

1. Vanilla Rooibos tea from Starbucks.
A girlfriend introduced me to this tea a couple nights ago and I am obsessed!  It is caffeine free which is awesome but it tastes unreal.  A mixture of vanilla, cinnamon, apples and peaches.  I am not a fan of fruity tea and I LOVE this tea.  Seriously, try it if you haven't already

2.  A close friend of mine couldn't make it to our wedding so we met up for lunch last week and he surprised us with this amazing limited edition Andy Warhol Dom Perignon.  As a tribute to pop artist Andy Warhol, Dom Perignon collaborated with the Andy Warhol Foundation to refashion the unchanging Dom Pérignon bottle in a way that they believe Warhol might have.  They did a great job!  It's so pretty to look at with the purple decal, its like it was made for me!  I plan on holding on to it for a very special occasion.

3. Newest to my makeup collection are 2 drugstore products.  Its rare I will buy makeup from anywhere other then mac, chanel or on occasion sephora, but I've made friends with on the the cosmetic girls at my local shoppers and she raved about this new foundation.  I HATE full coverage foundations- they just look so cakey on my skin.  Instead I prefer the glowy, dewey look-but to each their own.
My latest foundation find is Healthy Mix Serum Foundation by Bourjois Paris.  Made in France and said to be a 16 hour radiance booster, this foundation is my new best friend.  I've been using it now since beginning of september and will absolutely be repurchasing it in the future.  Its hypoallergenic and gel based so it glides on flawlessly and it smells amazing!  Its made from a vitamin rich fruit therapy so the natural lychee, gogi berries and pomegranate fragrance is apparent.  I just love it so much!

4.  My fall/winter fragrance is Body by Burberry.  Being 25, I feel I'm an in-between age for perfume.  What I mean is I am too old for the young flirty fragrances I enjoyed in college but too young for some of the more mature 'old lady' fragrances on the market now.  I am over the moon to say I found the perfect compromise and its Burberry Body.  I bought the 35ml because it doesn't take me long to be bored of a perfume and move on to a new one before even putting a dent into the last one, but I have a feeling this will be my signature smell all winter season.
Burberry describes the perfume as a: luxury chypre - fruity composition that begins with notes of fresh green absinthe, peach and freesia. Roses and iris are in the heart, leaning on the base of sandalwood, cashmerean, musk, amber and vanilla.

I easily pull the smell of vanilla, freesia and rose.  Slightly woody but very feminie and warm.  The smell lasts really well too!

Happy Fall Shopping dolls!

  1. Omg I love vanilla rooibos tea! When you're done your cleanse try it as a latte it's awesome. And Starbucks' is the best. Before they started selling the tea bags I tried others and none of them are nearly as good.
